Our History
Denver Microbrew Tour was founded in the early summer of 2009 by Steve Schneiter, a civil engineering graduate from the Colorado School of Mines. Between completing his undergrad and preparing to enter grad school for Engineering and Technology Management, Steve found himself inspired to create something unique.
His inspiration came from an unexpected place—a coffee tour he took in Seattle earlier that spring. Steve recognized the potential for a similar experience centered around Denver's burgeoning craft beer scene. Combining his engineering background with a keen interest in the craft beer community, Steve designed a tour that is both educational and engaging.
Since our inception, we have evolved into much more than just a beer tour; we offer an immersive experience that celebrates the rich culture, history, and, of course, the fantastic beer that Denver has to offer. With a commitment to education and community, Steve and the Denver Microbrew Tour team have been serving both locals and tourists alike, all keen to explore and understand the vibrant beer landscape of Denver.
